As in most countries, Japanese Cuisine can be broken up into regional and national dishes. Although many dishes have been around for centuries, the growing influence of western society has had some impact on the foods now found in many homes and restaurants in Japan.
Typical Japanese Cuisine features ingredients such as noodles, eggs, soy products (including tofu), various fish, (the Japanese use a lot of fish), short or medium grain white rice, mochi rice, fruits (some of which people in the west have probably never even heard of), and meat and poultry. In Japanese Cuisine it is not unusual to see horse meat on a menu. For example, raw horse meat in a meal served in thin slices dipped in soy sauce, and with onions and ginger is called basashi. This dish is favored in the regions of Nagano and Tohoku. Barbecued horse meat – bagushi – is also eaten in many parts of Japan.

For anyone thinking about starting up their own business there are usually 3 key important areas they have to consider. Failure to meet these challenges successfully will often result in either not getting started in the first place, or a new business collapsing before too long.
If you are contemplating starting your own business are any of these reasons causing you to hold back?
1. Fear that you will fail.
2. Insufficient start up capital.
3. You can’t think of any profitable business ideas.

Antarctica, the fifth largest of earth’s continents, is the coldest, highest, windiest and driest of all continents. Located as it is, underlying the south pole, is one of the reasons it is among the world’s coldest regions. In fact Antarctica is almost entirely covered by ice, averaging 1.6 km in thickness. As this continent has about 90% of the world’s ice it goes without saying this is where you will find around 70% of the world’s fresh water. No wonder Antarctica is often known as the Great White Continent! The lowest temperature ever recorded anywhere on earth, -89.2°C, was recorded on July 21, 1983, at the Russian owned Vostok Station. Unconfirmed reports suggest that lower recordings have been made since.

At some time in our lives most if not all of us will require some form of credit. It does not matter whether it is for a mobile phone, a car, or a home. Few of us have the means to pay cash up front for what we want, and sometimes it is impossible not to have credit, telephone rentals for example. We need credit, and there are plenty of companies who are willing to provide it.
For most of us, obtaining credit might not be such a difficult thing. We turn 18, get a job, have regular income, take out a mobile phone on credit, get a credit card and so on, and pay our bills as and when they come in. Over time we improve our credit standing and virtually walk through life getting whatever credit we need.
